Department of Medicine Clinics
Welcome to the Clinics of the Department of
Medicine, where adults receive comprehensive health care. In
addition to general medical care, our patients have an opportunity
to receive specialized medical attention from eight more specific
areas of medicine; namely, Allergy and Immunology, Dermatology,
Endocrinology (Diabetes and Metabolism), Geriatrics, Infectious
Diseases, Oncology/Hematology, and Pulmonology
(Critical Care
Medicine) as well as Rheumatology. Bone density testing
is also performed in our office.

General Office Hours:
8:00 am to 4:30 pm -
Monday through Friday
Lab Hours (closed for lunch from 12
noon to 1:00 pm each weekday):
8:00 am to 4:00 pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Thursdays only
**Before coming directly to the lab, please be sure to check
with your doctor's nurse for a completed lab order sheet
Bone Density Hours:
8:45 am to 11:00 am - Monday through Thursday

Appointments:
We use an automated appointment reminder system that will call you
48-hours prior to your appointment. Please listen carefully to the
message and press “1” to confirm the appointment and “2” if you need
to cancel for any reason. If you do not respond to the message a
staff member will contact you to confirm appointment. If you are
not at home, a message will be left on your answering system.
Failure to notify us of a cancellation prior to 48-hours before your
appointment may result in a charge of $20.00.
Helpful Hints:
- If you participate with an HMO please make sure your primary
doctor has authorized your visit. Patients will not be seen
without prior authorization.
- For first-time patients, please return via postal mail or
bring a completed Patient Information form with you at the time
of your appointment (photocopied insurance cards will need to
be included for our records)
- For prescription refill requests, any calls received after
12:00 may not be called in until the next business day.
Patients of Doctors Lin, Osterman, and the Endocrinology Fellows
who are in need of a written
prescription, please send requests two weeks in advance to the
