General Internal Medicine

Physicians in the Division of General Internal Medicine provide comprehensive primary care for adults (age 18 and older).  We manage simple medical problems as well as complicated medical disorders, and we provide preventive care for healthy adults. Because we are all university physicians, medical students and residents sometimes accompany us in our office practice. When our patients require hospitalization, they are generally admitted to the University of South Carolina internal medicine service at Palmetto Health Richland, the medical school’s affiliated hospital.
