The Division of Rheumatology offers consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services in the treatment of connective tissue diseases, arthritis, muscle, and bone disorders.  Our board-certified physicians are scientists, educators and most important, compassionate listeners.  We do our best to help patients understand their disease and the treatments available.

Rheumatic diseases can be complex, as there are more than 100 conditions, including all forms of arthritis, autoimmune disease, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis.  Rheumatic diseases can affect multiple parts of the body and is usually associated with inflammation (swelling and redness). 

Our rheumatologists are board certified and experienced in diagnosing and treating rheumatoid diseases, including:

  • Systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Scleroderma
  • Dermatomyositis
  • Vasculitis
  • Crystalline arthropathies (such as gout, and pseudogout)
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Tendonitis
  • Bursitis
