Patients with suspected or diagnosed chronic obstructive lung diseases such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, chronic bronchiectasis that need specialty care may be referred to this clinic.

Pulmonary function testing may be done either at Palmetto Health Richland or University Specialty Clinics for diagnosis and monitoring of disease progress.  Cardiopulmonary exercise testing to determine level of disability, exercise limitation and pulmonary rehabilitation exercise prescription will be done at Palmetto Health Richland Exercise Physiology Lab under the supervision of our physicians.
