Patients with suspected or diagnosed sleep disorders are seen by our board certified and/ or eligible sleep specialists. Among the sleep disorders diagnosed and treated in this clinic are: sleep apnea syndromes, narcolepsy, restless leg syndromes, and insomnia. On a case-to-case basis, patients may be co-managed with specialists in neurology, pediatric pulmonology, cardiology, otorhinolaryngology, developmental pediatrics, psychiatry and psychology.

Patients requiring polysomnography or sleep studies are referred to the Palmetto Health Richland Sleep Diagnostics Center, where our physicians will personally review each study completed and provide an official interpretation. Patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome have the options of following up with our physicians or their primary physicians for their therapy.
